Godox has announced a pair of new compact, travel-friendly flash units with the iM20 and iM22 Mini Flashes.

The two new Godox Mini Flash units benefit from shared technology, performance, and features while offering photographers styling choices between the two units.
The iM20 and iM22 flash units are incredibly compact and lightweight, making them ideal for travel or as backups in a camera bag.
Before we examine the design differences between the two, let’s look at their universal features.
More than just a gimmick, the Mini Flash units are compatible with a wide range of compact, DSLR, and digital mirrorless cameras via a single-contact hot-shoe mount.
Each Godox Mini Flash has a built-in lithium battery and a USB-C charging port for fast and convenient charging. A full charge takes just over one hour.
The internal power system delivers fast 3-second recycle times and up to 440 full-power flashes, enabling more than enough creative application in various photography genres.
In terms of power, the Godox iM20 and iM22 offer five power adjustment levels for exposure, fine-tuning, and creative use of additional light without overpowering a composition.
Godox iM20
The Godox iM20 is a low-profile flash unit with a rectangular body and convenient hot shoe mount. It measures 1.53 x 1.49 x 1.16″ (39 x 38 x 29.5mm) and weighs just 1oz (31g).
Godox’s iM20 offers a sleek, retro-inspired design that takes up little room in your photography bag, even if it is still attached to a camera.
The rear of the unit features + and—buttons for quick level adjustment. LEDs indicate the power level. The left panel features a USB-C port and a single Power/Text button.
Godox iM22

Godox’s new iM22 Mini Flash is equally compact and lightweight but has an upright design. It measures 2.24 x 1.57 x 0.82″ (57 x 40 x 22mm) and weighs 1.2oz (34g).
The iM22 features the same + and—buttons, LED indicator, and Power/Test button on the flash’s rear, making it easy to access. The USB-C port is located on the right side of the unit.
The Godox iM20 and iM22 join the growing fleet of portable and convenient Mini Flash units. The iM20 and iM22 are expected to retail for around US$35.00 each.
Each of the new Godox Mini Flash units includes a USB-C cable and cloth storage bag.
