Inside My Camera Bag | Erhan Coral

My name is Erhan Coral, and I consider myself a lifelong photography student.

What started as a simple curiosity quickly grew into a way for me to connect with the world around me.

I’m particularly drawn to documenting everyday life, those quiet, often-overlooked moments that reveal much about who we are.

Every place and person has a unique story, and I feel privileged to capture even a tiny part of it.

Photography is a quiet, ongoing journey for me, and I’m grateful for every step along the way.

Leica Q3 – I started with a Leica Q and eventually upgraded to a Leica Q3. I love the ease of use, image quality, and camera size.

I am so used to this camera that it feels like a part of my body.

Sony A7C – This is usually the travel camera I use when I need different focal lengths. Again, size is essential for me, and on top of that, the usual Sony image quality and extended features are the reasons why I’ve chosen this kit.

Fujifilm X100V – This is my backup camera. I also use it for short trips and put it into my pocket when I wander around a city.

Nikon F3 – This is the analog camera I’ve used for years. It’s a tank that never lets you down.

The Leica Q System has a fixed Leica 28mm Summilux f/1.7 lens, probably the best lens I’ve ever used. It’s incredibly sharp and simply outstanding.

Sigma 16-28mm f/2.8 DG DN – a superb size and weight with fantastic sharpness. My go-to lens for ultra-wide angle shots.

Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8 DG DN – my mid-range choice for a lens, with incredible sharpness and superb size and weight.

Tamron 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6 – This all-in-one lens is suitable for different conditions. It has excellent image quality and it is easy to use.

Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 IS – This is the lens I pair with my Nikon F3. You cannot go wrong with this lens; it’s a classic.

Sunny 16 The Voyager Backpack – This is my favorite travel backpack. I have gone through a number of backpacks over time, but this one is the best I’ve used so far.

Peak Design Everyday Sling – I use it on my daily city walks; the ease of use and sturdiness are so good.

Manfrotto PIXI Mini Tripod – I keep it in my bag, and it answers my tripod needs most of the time.

Macbook Pro 14’’ – this my fifth one, so I don’t need to say anymore.

Adobe LightRoom and Adobe Photoshop – I edit my photos in Lightroom eighty percent of the time, and with the new features, you don’t need much else.

Photography gear is necessary, and it’s essential to be educated about it to a certain point, but one should not be obsessed about the gear.

The most important thing is being out in the streets shooting images daily!
